Our Stomp Out Domestic Violence virtual run/walk is under a new name for 2023. Join us June 11th-25th for the first Love Shouldn't Hurt 5K & Challenge virtual run/walk fundraiser to raise awareness for domestic violence issues in Lorain County and honor the lives we have lost. For this newly reimagined event participants can choose between one of three events, a 5K individual event, an individual challenge event, and a team challenge event. The required number of miles for the individual and team challenge events will represent the number of domestic violence homicide victims in Lorain County. For our previous event, the number was 56 and we truly hope it remains at 56.

5K Individual event $35:
Walk or run 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) or 10 kilometers (6.21 miles) to raise awareness about domestic violence in Lorain County. All participants will receive an awesome T-Shirt, and all finishers will receive a commemorative race medal!

Team challenge event $250:
This team challenge event is in honor of the men, women, and children who have lost their lives to domestic violence. For this challenge, you and 5 of your friends, family, and/or colleagues will run/walk one mile for each person who has lost their life to domestic violence homicide in Lorain County since 1989. The number of miles currently sits at 56 and we truly hope it stays at 56. Each participant will receive an awesome event T-Shirt and commemorative race medal! Participants are encouraged to create a cool team name, post a picture, and tag us on social media using the event hashtags.

Individual challenge event $35:
This event is for those who love a challenge. For this event one person will run/walk a minimum of 56 miles within a two-week period. The final number of miles will be announced at a later date. Each participant will receive an event T-Shirt and commemorative race medal!

Registration for this event will open January 2023!
