Dolores lived in Penfield Township. The night before her murder, Dolores locked her husband out of the house during an argument. A family friend who was an off-duty police officer told Dolores she had to let her husband back in the house. The next day, Dolores was found shot to death and her husband was discovered to have died by suicide.
