Linnea Satterfield (56)

Died: July 17th, 2017

Linnea was the mother of two grown children and was a grandmother. She was a longtime resident of Elyria and an Elyria High School graduate. Responding to a missing person’s report by Linnea's sister, police went to her home and found evidence of a struggle and traces of blood. Days later, officers found Linnea's boyfriend with his car in a ditch and attempting to hurt himself with a knife. Upon further examination of the car, Linnea's body was found in the trunk. He is charged with aggravated murder, felonious assault and domestic violence.
