Died: February 7, 1933
Mary was the mother of two children and lived in Elyria. After being beaten with a baseball bat by her husband, she was released from the hospital and sought shelter at the Genesis House. She died at the shelter the next night as a result of internal injuries. Her husband was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and did 12 years in prison.
