Michelle lived with her boyfriend in North Ridgeville. She had barricaded herself in her bedroom when her boyfriend broke down the door. She was shot once in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene. Her boyfriend, who had a lengthy criminal history, called 911 saying “send the cops now please, I just shot my wife.” He was convicted of felonious assault, weapons under disability and receiving stolen property. He was found not guilty of murder.
